The different types of banner placements

Banner Placement Type	Typical App Verticals	Use For	Don't Use For
Auto Load Banner	Games, Utilities, News	Static banner size and position at the bottom (or top) of the app. Usually reloads banners automatically every 30 seconds.	Moving banner position (in feeds), changing banner size.
Multi-Size Auto Load Banner	Utilities, News, (Games)	Flexible banner size but static banner position at the bottom (or top) of the app. Usually reloads banners automatically every 30 seconds. Banner Cache	Utilities, News	Flexible banner position and size, usually used for displaying banners in feeds (e.g. news). Takes care of automatic and asynchronous loading and caching of ads.	Targeting specific banner positions (e.g. in feeds) separately.
Infeed Banner	Utilities, News	Flexible banner position and size, usually used for displaying banners in feeds (e.g. news) if different banner positions need to be targeted separately from each other. Gives app full control over loading and displaying a specific ad.	In feed ads, if specific positions don't need to be targeted separately.
